Oyekunle Asaolu is a Chartered Accountant and seasoned Business Advisor with over eight years of diverse professional experience spanning retail, construction, FMCG, non-governmental, and manufacturing sectors.

He is currently Powerex’s Head of Internal Control and plays a pivotal role in strengthening internal processes and compliance.

His previous roles include serving as Financial Controller at a manufacturing company, and holding key finance positions at LEAP Africa Ltd/GTE and Black Pelican Limited, where he demonstrated strong financial stewardship and a strategic approach to financial planning and control.

Oyekunle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). He is also a certified advanced Microsoft Office user and a holder of certifications in soft skills from recognized professional bodies.
