Powerex Limited was commissioned on this project with requirement for 2 x 160kVA parallel redundant UPS configured in shared-load default operation for critical IT services and the Server load at Addax Lagos head office, with an autonomy of 60 minutes on each 160kVA UPS. There was an additional requirement of 300kVA input mains regulator for the backup power infrastructure to further assure enhanced power quality of the system. The parallel system auto-adjusts from parallel-redundant to parallel capacity mode if / when required, and vice-versa if / when necessitating conditions revert. The solution has proven to be an invaluable investment to customer given the history or reliability, excellent performance and seamless support that have been the on-going experience since nearly a decade.
